According to analysts from the information resource DeepState, Russian troops continue to attack Ukrainian positions in the Kupiansk direction in Kharkiv region. Successes are noted in two villages of the region - Topoli and Kam'yanka.
DeepState also reported on the creation of an additional foothold by Russian troops near the village of Krasne Pershe and their attempt to consolidate positions on the heights east of this settlement. Topoli is also threatened with full occupation.
ISW analysts previously stated that such actions by Russia indicate an attempt by Putin to disrupt peace negotiations and create discord between Ukraine and the USA.
