A deputy from Vinnytsia resorted to tricks to avoid mobilization

According to inkorr.com: In the Vinnytsia region, law enforcement uncovered a shocking scheme to avoid mobilization. A local council deputy, seeking to evade military service, proposed to buy a wheelchair user in order to exploit her illness for his own purposes.

“At the end of 2024, the official learned about two sisters, one of whom is an 18-year-old girl with a second-degree disability, and due to her illness does not realize the significance of her actions. Taking advantage of their difficult financial situation, the man offered the older sister to 'redeem' the younger sister for 3,000 UAH a month. The woman agreed, and part of the money received was later spent on repaying loans.”

This cynical act by the deputy resulted in his 18-year-old “partner” gaining personal freedom - she is now safe. However, the suspect faces serious punishment in the form of imprisonment.

A scheme to avoid mobilization through fictitious marriages

This case is not isolated. In Dnipro, a similar situation occurred when a man, trying to avoid service, entered into a fictitious marriage with a disabled person. He received a two-year probation for his actions.

Thus, society has once again witnessed shameful attempts to evade mobilization at the expense of defenseless people. Law enforcement is actively exposing similar schemes, and the perpetrators are receiving just punishments for their immoral actions. These events indicate the need for increased control over the observance of legal norms in wartime conditions.
