According to the online publication Czech Radio iRozhlas.cz, Ukrainian displaced persons in the Czech Republic often work in low-skilled jobs due to the large number of migrants from Ukraine who have arrived in the country after events in Eastern Ukraine. Despite the positive impact of Ukrainians on the country's economy, they face challenges in the labor market, working hard and earning low wages.

Even Ukrainians with higher education often encounter difficulties finding work in their field and are forced to accept any offers due to various reasons, such as limited knowledge of the Czech language and challenges in recognizing their qualifications. Research from Charles University shows that the Czech economic model largely relies on the use of cheap foreign labor, but this may create problems for both Ukrainian migrants and Czech society as a whole.
The paradox of the situation
There is a risk of Ukrainian workers being exploited by intermediary structures that promise assistance but actually use them as cheap labor. Ukrainians in the Czech Republic are forced to work in low-skilled positions for various reasons, which can have negative consequences for all parties.
Reports that Ukrainian displaced persons in the Czech Republic face challenges in the labor market due to low salaries and limited use in their professional occupations have caused outrage among experts and the public.Read also
