Doctor Arrested on Suspicion of Pedophilia

According to The Sun: A doctor was arrested after he allegedly asked a mother if he could rape her five-year-old daughter via messages.

Dr. William Murdoch was detained in a pedophilia operation after he was accused of sending a number of obscene messages while acting undercover.

Port St. Lucie Police Department

An undercover officer from the Port St. Lucie Police Department posed as a mother and began a "platonic relationship" with Murdoch.

According to police, Murdoch allegedly became close to the fictitious mother after learning she had two younger daughters aged five and nine years.

Obscene Messages

During the investigation, the police received "disturbing messages" sent by the doctor.

One of the dialogues contained Murdoch's plans on how to exert sexual influence over a child.

“Murdoch detailed his depraved behavior, so explicit that it cannot be fully conveyed. However, it included various sexual relations,” said the Port St. Lucie police statement.

The police shared one of the message exchanges where Murdoch asks: “How old are your girls?”

The pseudomother answers, after which Murdoch continues: “Are you a bad mom?”

After a brief conversation, the mother asks: “What are you interested in?”

The undercover gets a chilling response: “I hope your girls, haha.”

New Details of the Investigation

During the forensic examination of Murdoch's iCloud and messenger account, police discovered more conversations.

This suggested that another individual was involved in this case.

This individual, who was training as a medical professional, assisted Murdoch in other “negative activities on the dark web,” according to law enforcement.

The conversations involved “conception, urgent abortions, and the intentional use of drugs and alcohol to induce developmental disabilities,” law enforcement reported.

An arrest warrant was immediately issued for the doctor.

He is accused of inciting parents to consent to sexual violence against a child.

Murdoch is planned to be extradited to Florida in the coming days, authorities said.

It is noted that Murdoch previously held the position of associate director of Monroe Regional Hospital, which specializes in family medicine.

ProMedica, the owner of ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital in Michigan, informed CBS News that the arrest “triggered an immediate suspension of Murdoch's medical privileges and the suspension of all his activities in the medical facility.”

This incident has sparked widespread public outcry, as the integrity of medical professionals is the foundation of patient trust in the healthcare system. The investigation continues, and law enforcement urges anyone with additional information to contact the police.
