Currency Market Report for July 28: Dollar Rises 6 Kopecks, Euro Declines.
According to Мінфін — Крипто/Фінанси: Ukraine's currency market continues to see daily fluctuations. On July 28, the dollar and euro experienced shifts: the dollar's buying rate increased by 6 kopecks, while its selling rate went up by 2 kopecks. Meanwhile, the euro remained unchanged on the buying side but fell by 2 kopecks on the selling side.
In the cash market, the average dollar rate dropped by 15 kopecks for purchases and 3 kopecks for sales. The euro, in contrast, lost 5 kopecks on both buying and selling. As of July 28, the hryvnia stood at 44.63–45.08 UAH per dollar. Euros were bought at 50.80 UAH and sold at 51.42 UAH.
Currency Auction and Interbank Rates
During the currency auction, the dollar traded at 44.80–44.92 UAH, while the euro traded between 51.20 and 51.40 UAH. The interbank market opened with the dollar ranging from 44.87 to 44.90 UAH, and euro trades were at 51.02–51.04 UAH. These fluctuations indicate active trading and could affect the country's economic landscape.
