Crypto ETF Inflows Reach $137M as STORJ Plunges 16% and Triple-A Loses $11.8M in Hack.
Market Overview
According to Мінфін — Крипто/Фінанси: The cryptocurrency market this week presented a stark contrast between severe setbacks and robust capital inflows. STORJ token cratered 16% to $0.06 after Storj Labs declared bankruptcy. Its all-time high from 2021 stood above $2.8, while current trading hovers around $0.05. Separately, payment platform Triple-A fell victim to a cyberattack that drained $11.8 million. The breach extended over 31 hours and affected major networks such as TRON, Ethereum, TON, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Bitcoin.
On the upside, spot crypto exchange-traded funds attracted net inflows totaling $137.69 million from July 20 to 24, 2026. This positive trend was driven by Ethereum ETFs, which drew $103.9 million, while Bitcoin ETFs added $33.79 million. Over the preceding three weeks, Bitcoin funds accumulated more than $306 million and Ethereum funds nearly $294 million. Additionally, after more than two months of consistent outflows, stablecoin USDC registered net inflows back to crypto exchanges. Binance also reported that daily deposit transactions stabilized at around 12,000.
Institutional Capital Details
Further breaking down the ETF data, the two largest digital assets saw divergent but strong interest. Ethereum funds saw particularly heavy demand, while Bitcoin funds continued their steady accumulation. The return of positive USDC flows suggests renewed confidence among traders.
Kaloyan Raev commented, “This process enables an orderly restructuring of liabilities and a fresh start with a solid foundation.”
The recent events underscore the crypto sector's vulnerability to corporate bankruptcies and cyber threats, as seen with STORJ and Triple-A. Yet the substantial ETF inflows and resumption of stablecoin deposits indicate growing institutional appetite, hinting at potential recovery and long-term growth opportunities for investors.
