Farion's Daughter Showed Her Last Photo.
Linguist Iryna Farion's daughter, Sofia Semchyshyn, published a photograph with her mother and ex-husband. This is the last image taken a month before Iryna Farion's murder. In an interview with TSN host Solomiya Vitvitska, Sofia talked about this picture and the happiness reflected in it.
«This is the last photo of me and my parents. Although I didn't think it would be the last photo. But in this picture, we are extremely happy. And she then told my dad, who is now defending all Ukrainians on the Kharkiv front in the infantry, «Ostap, let's go to the Garrison Church». This photo was taken a month before her murder, that is, on June 20. And then we all went to the Garrison Church together. And no one could imagine that on July 20 there would be her requiem in the Garrison Church», - Sofia told.
Sofia added that she would always keep this photo in a prominent place at home as a memory of a complete family, which she did not have due to certain circumstances.
«But mom always supported my dad and always thanked him for having me. She called me the «God's gift» because children are born from the great love of two people. They managed to maintain a good relationship», - said Farion's daughter.
Let's recall that Iryna Farion was shot dead in Lviv. The suspect in the murder is an 18-year-old from Dnipro, who rented several apartments in Lviv before the crime. It is also known that the suspect was connected with the Telegram community «Against the system», whose owner propagates negative ideas.
The Halytskyi Court of Lviv decided to keep the suspect in custody for 60 days.
