Daughter of Farion Showed Footage of the Failed Assassination Attempt on the Linguist.
In July 2024, Irina Farion, the mother of Sofia Osoba, was killed during an attack. Sofia Osoba shared video footage from surveillance cameras that confirms this fact.
Sofia claims that her mother was returning home after recording the program 'Gen of Ukrainians' and entered the entrance just before the attack.
The daughter also addressed the person suspected of the murder, demanding life imprisonment for them.

On July 19, 2024, Irina Farion died in the hospital from her injuries. An unknown person attacked her on Masaryka Street in Lviv. Local residents noticed a young man in the area for a week.
In January 2025, a hearing took place in the case of Irina Farion's murder, where the session was postponed. The daughter filed a lawsuit for moral damages.
The prosecutors completed the pre-trial investigation and submitted an indictment against 18-year-old Vyacheslav Zinchenko, the suspect in the murder. He faces life imprisonment.
In the case of Irina Farion's murder, 15 molecular genetic tests are planned to be conducted.
