Murom Manufacturing Plant specializes in the production of ignition devices for ammunition and components for the Russian Navy and aviation. The plant is included in the sanction lists of Ukraine and the EU due to its involvement in supporting military aggression against Ukraine. It is located on the southern outskirts of Murom, a few hundred kilometers from Moscow and the Ukrainian border.
The Ministry of Defense of Russia reported the downing of 99 drones. As a result of this attack, a 'carpet' plan was introduced in the airports of Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov, and Tambov.
