Two power outage queues: Ukrenergo clarified what awaits Ukrainians on December 4.
Ukrenergo publishes the electricity outage schedule due to the attack
Ukrenergo has published the electricity outage schedule for December 4 due to the consequences of a massive attack. Different restriction modes are planned for ordinary consumers throughout the day: from 6:00 to 7:00 and from 20:00 to 22:00, one queue of outages will be in effect, while from 7:00 to 20:00, there will be two queues. Industry and business will operate under power limitation schedules from 6:00 to 22:00.
The need for restrictions is related to damage to energy facilities due to the massive missile and drone attack on November 28. Energy workers continue restoration work on the damaged equipment.
Last night, due to another drone attack, an energy facility in the Ternopil region was damaged, leading to temporary power outages for ordinary consumers and critical infrastructure in the region. Power supply has now been restored for almost all consumers, and specialists of the distribution company continue emergency restoration work.
As of 6:00 on December 3, electricity consumption exceeded the figures of the previous working day by 3.3%. On December 2, a daily maximum of consumption was recorded in the morning, which exceeded the maximum on November 29 by 6% due to a reduction in the volume of restrictions.
To support the energy system, electricity imports from five countries – Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova – totaling 8,343 MWh with a maximum capacity of up to 837 MW during certain hours are planned.
