Anatoliy Tymoshchuk's ex-wife, Nadiya Navrotska, expressed her opinion on him donating a jersey to a Russian military auction, the proceeds from which will be directed to support the Kursk region.

Previously, "Glavkom" reported that ex-player of the Ukrainian national team Tymoshchuk, who is currently working as an assistant coach at St. Petersburg's "Zenit", took part in helping Russian occupiers.

"Tolyk is very creative in this respect and will find more ways to fall. I'm not even surprised by his actions. As for this auction, it is something from the category of "God, what a scumbag". Well done, Tolyk, Kursk region historically belongs to Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already liberating it, so support Ukrainians," Navrotska said.

She also noted that the system in Russia is becoming increasingly inadequate and they are continuously tightening the screws, like in Stalin's times.

"There is constant pressure and incitement. To work there, you need to show that you are a supporter of "Russian adequacy". If he stays quiet, he will become suspicious to the Russian special services. They will start asking questions, and he will have to confirm his loyalty to the "Russian world" or flee. But how will he flee if he has already transferred all his money from Germany to Russia after the war began. It's no secret that opinion leaders, such as artists, have always been used by the KGB. Then came times of relative freedom, and you couldn't just make people do things. The FSB began to use other methods, offering various projects, money, recruiting people," Tymoshchuk's wife explained.

She believes that the Russian security forces knew as early as 2007 that the war would begin.

"They started looking for Ukrainian speakers like Tymoshchuk back then. It is quite likely that this is why "Zenit" paid so much money for him. You could say that the FSB is related to his transfer," Navrotska said in an interview with sport-express.ua.

UAF banned Anatoliy Tymoshchuk from engaging in any football activities for life. He was also stripped of all titles and awards. All of this was a consequence of his participation in helping Russian occupiers.

Let's also recall that Tymoshchuk referred to Russia's war against Ukraine as a "special military operation" and said that he sees no difference between Ukrainians and Russians. He also ended up on the sanctions list of public figures by the NSDC.

Additionally, Tymoshchuk took part in a memorial match for Illya Tsymbalar, which was opposed by their relatives. As a result, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed sanctions against Tymoshchuk.
