According to UATV: On June 25, a major pledging event dubbed the 'Energy Ramstein' took place in Gdańsk, where international partners committed €375 million to restore Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. This financial package is part of a broader global effort to bolster the country’s energy security amid ongoing challenges.
International Backing
The United States emerged as the largest donor in this initiative, contributing a $175 million package, according to Ukrainian Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal. Latvia also stepped up, allocating €6.8 million to support Ukraine’s energy sector. Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže stated:
