Yermak: Negotiations with Russia are senseless

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak spoke about Ukraine's attitude towards the possibility of negotiations with Russia to end the war. He stated that currently Ukraine sees no need for direct negotiations with Russia, as they do not bring the necessary result. The decision to have a Russian representative at the second Peace Summit is possible, but it does not mean the start of negotiations. As for the possible participation of Putin, it is too early to talk about this.

The head of the OP emphasized that Ukraine is not ready to compromise on its territorial integrity and sovereignty. He assured that during Zelensky's presidency, the Minsk agreements or any other agreements that are not supported by Ukrainian society will not be repeated.

Thus, Ukraine is currently not ready for direct negotiations with Russia, but remains open to conveying a peace plan to a Russian representative in the future, provided this is not a sign of the start of direct negotiations.
