Injuries and condition of the women

Both women were crossing the road when they were struck by a 'taxi' on the El-600 road between Ibiza and San Antonio on August 26.

Eboni's sister, Shannon, reported that her sister suffered 'brain injuries, lung bleeding, broken and fractured legs, broken ribs, and numerous bruises.'

She said on Wednesday: “Her condition is currently considered critical, and we hope that after 2 PM her condition will be deemed serious but stable. That is our hope.”

A representative from the clinic where Eboni is located confirmed these injuries, adding that she also sustained “head injuries, chest injuries and rib fractures.”

On the fundraising page for Lauren, her friends and family noted: “Doctors are doing everything possible, but the reality is that her recovery will be long and difficult.”

“She is facing many injuries: broken legs, arms, ribs and internal injuries.”

“We just don’t know how serious her injuries will be.”

The families of the women have called for fundraising to cover medical expenses and return the women to the UK.

The Civil Guard reported on Tuesday that two British women were hospitalized in serious condition.

“They were pedestrians who were struck by a 24-year-old Spaniard driving a Toyota Corolla,” authorities added.

The incident occurred at 1:50 AM on the El-600 road between Ibiza and San Antonio in the municipality of San Antonio.

On Wednesday, the police could not comment on the speed and circumstances of the collision.

Eboni, from Bradford, is being treated at the private clinic Nuestra Senora del Rosario.

Lauren, a mother of two, is currently in the ICU of the public hospital Can Misses in Ibiza.
