According to The Sun: Families in the UK are set to pay around £600,000 in income tax over their lifetime, according to new data. The total amount in taxes, including VAT, national insurance, and other charges, amounts to approximately £1.28 million, of which £571,740 is income tax.
“Most households are now 'tax millionaires',” claims TaxPayers’ Alliance CEO John O’Connell, presenting the results of his organization's research.
This data highlights the significant financial burden on families caused by rising tax rates and increased levels of contributions. Such a situation forces many individuals to rethink their attitude towards taxes and the expenses that accompany their daily lives.
