A terrible storm that struck Italy left a trail of destruction in several tourist regions. Hundreds of trees were ripped from the ground, smashing parked cars. Intense rain, hail, and winds of up to 60 miles per hour caused real chaos, leading local media to describe it as 'a true marine supercell.'The most damage occurred in Rimini and Ravenna. Cars were destroyed, crops were ruined, and local residents were forced to flee from beach resorts. The phenomenon of supercells arises when the core of the storm regenerates itself and draws moisture from the warm sea. A total of over 265 trees were destroyed in Milano Marittima, many of which fell on cars and houses. Recently, Italy has also experienced flooding, turning streets into rivers, which only underscores the relentless power of nature.
