Ferrari to unveil its first electric car in 2026: all model details.
According to Korrespondent.net: Ferrari is preparing its first electric car, scheduled to debut in 2026 under the name Elettrica.
Electric Car Specifications
According to information, the electric grand tourer will be equipped with four electric motors with a total power of over 986 hp, capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. The top speed will be 310 km/h. Drivers will be able to choose between three driving modes - Range, Tour, and Performance, as well as adjust the torque and the intensity of regenerative braking using paddle shifters.
Sound and Battery
Ferrari decided not to use artificial methods to create the sound of the engine. Instead, special sensors track the actual vibrations of the inverter, and the system amplifies them, creating a natural sound that adapts to the driving style.
The electric car will feature a battery with a capacity of 122 kWh, positioned in the floor of the chassis, which will lead to a reduction in the center of gravity by 80 mm compared to gasoline models. The energy density of the battery will be 195 Wh/kg, which is one of the highest figures in the segment of production electric vehicles. The range will exceed 530 km, and the charging speed of up to 350 kW will allow for quick energy recovery.
Construction and Premiere
The chassis and body of the Elettrica will be made of 75% recycled aluminum. The structure will include a separate rear subframe to reduce vibrations in the cabin. The 48-volt active suspension system, borrowed from the Purosangue and F80 models, will provide optimal balance between comfort and handling precision.
The Elettrica is expected to have a four-door body with four seats, similar to grand tourers of previous generations. Weighing around 2.3 tons, this car will be the heaviest model in the brand's history.
The official world premiere of the Ferrari Elettrica is scheduled for spring 2026, and the first images of the interior are promised to be shown next year. The launch of the electric car is planned at the new E-Building factory in Maranello, created specifically for the production of electric and hybrid models.
