Maduro will be brought to the Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York, where the first hearing in his case will take place.

Political Situation in Venezuela
Power in Venezuela has recently transitioned to Maduro's closest ally. The country's Supreme Court has mandated Vice President Delcy Rodriguez to lead the state amid the crisis.
Meanwhile, Trump expressed confidence that Rodriguez would remain loyal to Washington, but she
refused to submit to the U.S., calling Americans occupiers and their actions barbaric.
The trial of Maduro has the potential to impact the political situation in Venezuela, as well as affect the country's relations with the international community. Currently, the situation remains tense, as the new leadership must address numerous issues, including the economic crisis and social instability.
