New Look owners are considering selling the company.
As of today, the chain has already closed about ten stores, including in Scotland and Wales.
Due to the rise in online sales, River Island is also planning to close up to 35 stores in January.
Last year, the chain reported a pre-tax loss of £32.3 million, with turnover falling by 15% to £578.1 million.
Thus, the situation in the UK retail market is demonstrating serious problems that many companies face due to increasing competition and changes in consumer habits. Among retailers that have not withstood the pressure, Bodycare has become the latest example of the challenges currently facing the industry.
