Gallup: US Rating Among Palestinians Falls to Historic Low.

The rating of US leaders' support in Palestine has reached a historic low, according to a new survey.

Only 5% of Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem support US leadership, the lowest figure since 2006, according to a survey conducted by Gallup and relayed by The Hill.

The low rating comes nearly a year after the Hamas invasion of Israel on October 7. Since then, Israel has launched a deadly counteroffensive in Gaza, which, according to local health authorities, has resulted in the deaths of over 41,000 Palestinians.

The US and the Biden administration claim that Israel has the right to self-defense, but opposition to the use of Israeli military force against civilians is growing. The US is calling for a ceasefire, but there is no end to the conflict yet.

Most Palestinians believe that the US can influence Israel's policies and military actions.

The support rating for US leadership among Israelis also decreased after the onset of the attack, but most still support their ally. After President Biden's visit to Israel in October following the attacks, the rating was 81%, but since then, it has decreased by 18 points to 63%.

The surveys were conducted after Iran responded to Israeli strikes with missiles, sparking fears of a full-blown war, almost exactly one year after the beginning of the conflict in the Middle East.
