The special envoy of the US president emphasized the significant losses in the ongoing war and stressed the need to put an end to this.According to FREEДOM: 'You can see how quickly the process we are working on is moving, and it is moving very, very quickly. We hope to reach a state where in the near future we will receive, for lack of a better term, security guarantees. This is work that is still ongoing,' he noted.
The US president's special representative added that this is 'a difficult, complex task, President Trump acknowledged this.' It should be noted that Keith Kellogg's visit takes place against the backdrop of consultations between the US, Ukraine, and EU countries regarding the provision of long-term security guarantees to Kyiv in the event of a peace agreement with Russia.'You want to see this through to a just and reasonable end in the future. And I hope that in a year, on the next Independence Day, on the 35th anniversary of Ukraine, the next prayer breakfast will likely take place after this. Everything will be different, Ukraine will be a different country when we hold it next time. And any role that I can play or that we all can play, I consider very, very important,' Kellogg noted.
