The initiative was first launched in 2022, with previous gatherings taking place in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Italy.
During the conference, participants signed roughly 160 agreements, cumulatively valued at over €10 billion. These commitments are designed to drive Ukraine’s recovery, which remains critically urgent amid ongoing challenges.

Fesenko further emphasized that 'this is one indicator of our resilience and the normal functioning of our energy system.' Overall, the Gdansk conference represents a significant step forward for Ukraine’s reconstruction and energy security. The results underscore the continued international backing Ukraine receives during these difficult times.
International Cooperation and the Energy Sector
This gathering highlights not only the critical role of global collaboration in rebuilding Ukraine but also the urgent need for sustainable solutions in the energy sector, which has suffered heavy damage due to the war.
