Russia’s Main Attack Axes Revealed by Ukraine’s General Staff: 21 Assaults Near Pokrovsk.

According to Espreso.tv: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released its daily report on June 6, 2023, detailing the challenging situation on the battlefield. By 4:00 PM local time, numerous shelling incidents against civilian settlements and intense combat operations across multiple sectors had been recorded.
Among the communities that came under fire were the following:
- Rohizne
- Ryzhivka
- Korenok
- Buniakyne
- Bachivsk
- Sokhny
- Neskuchne
- Vovkivka
- Sopych
- Prohres
An airstrike also targeted the settlement of Vorozhba. In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian defensive lines faced 30 shelling attacks and two direct combat clashes. Near Vovchansk, one attempt to breach Ukrainian defenses was recorded.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces launched two assaults, highlighting their continued activity in that area. The Lyman sector saw four attempted storming operations, while in the Sloviansk sector, one Russian advance was successfully neutralized. Meanwhile, in the Kramatorsk sector, a single enemy offensive action took place but yielded no results.
Other Frontline Sectors
In the Kostiantynivka sector, 12 Russian military attacks were registered. The Pokrovsk sector experienced the highest number of enemy actions, with 21 assault attempts; five firefights are still ongoing there. The Oleksandrivka sector also faced five enemy storming operations, with one active skirmish continuing. The Huliaipole sector witnessed eight Russian assaults, whereas in the Orikhiv sector, no offensive enemy moves were detected.
Finally, in the Dnipro River sector, two combat clashes occurred. These figures underscore the tense situation along the front and the high level of military activity from both sides. The situation remains fluid, and future developments could significantly alter the course of the conflict.
The frontline situation continues to be tense, with numerous shellings and attempted offensives by Russian troops.
