Xiaomi has changed the camera and battery in the global version of Redmi Note 15 Pro+.
According to Korrespondent.net: Xiaomi has introduced the global versions of the Redmi Note 15 smartphones that previously debuted in China. The specifications of the Note 15 and Note 15 Pro models remain unchanged, while the Note 15 Pro+ has received significant updates, particularly in the camera and battery.
Camera and Battery
The major changes relate to the camera capabilities. The Chinese version features a 200-megapixel camera with internal zoom and support for multiple focal lengths. In contrast, the global version of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ has a 50 MP camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide module, but lacks the 50-megapixel telephoto module.
As for the battery, the international version is equipped with a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 6500 mAh, which is less than the 7000 mAh of the Chinese version. However, the 100W fast charging has become more efficient, and there is support for reverse wired charging at 22.5W. Interestingly, despite the lower capacity, the global version of the smartphone is thicker.
Display and Other Features
The smartphone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 3200 nits. The resolution of the international version's screen is 2772x1280 pixels, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is used for protection instead of Dragon Crystal Glass.
The front camera remains at 32 MP, while the processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. Among other useful features, it is worth noting the under-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio, as well as support for eSIM and enhanced dust and water protection according to IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K standards.
Additional Features and Configurations
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ also supports Xiaomi Offline Communication technology, which allows interaction over short distances without a network. To improve the quality of the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and mobile connectivity signals, the smartphone is equipped with the Xiaomi Surge T1S Tuner chip.
The global version of the device will be available in brown and blue colors. Buyers will be able to choose between configurations with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, as well as 12/256 GB and 12/512 GB. Prices start at €499 and reach up to €549 depending on the chosen configuration.
The launch of the global version of the Redmi Note 15, especially the Pro+ model, highlights Xiaomi's efforts to expand its presence in the international market. With new features and powerful performance, these smartphones may become an attractive choice for users looking for a powerful device at an affordable price. This lineup will undoubtedly attract attention with its features and various configurations, allowing everyone to find an optimal option for themselves.
