Google commented on the publication of maps with military facilities in Ukraine.

The company itself reported on the publication of satellite images with Ukraine's defense infrastructure in the updated map developed by Google. It is noted that these images were taken more than a year ago and were sourced from publicly available resources. Google claims that they did not publish the latest images of conflict zones and are in contact with Ukrainian officials.
Earlier, Google published updated satellite images showing the positioning of Ukrainian military systems. This caused an uproar, and Ukrainian officials asked the company to rectify this situation. Google representatives only contacted the Ukrainian side after public demands, said the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation.
It is worth mentioning that Meta is also working on developing its search system using artificial intelligence. These systems are meant to provide up-to-date information about the latest events through a Meta AI chatbot.
