Hotel Ukraine on Maidan sold for a billion: details of privatization.
The Hotel Ukraine in the center of Kyiv is valued at 1.047 billion UAH as part of preparations for the privatization auction. It is planned to be put up for sale this summer. This was stated by the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, Vitaliy Koval.
'1 billion 047 million 637 152 UAH. This is the starting price determined by the auction commission for the Hotel Ukraine. The Cabinet of Ministers will then approve this price and the auction conditions', - Koval said.
The privatization auction will take place in the Prozorro.Sales system.
Description of the Hotel 'Ukraine'
The Hotel Ukraine is a 4-star hotel located on Independence Square in the center of Kyiv. The total area of the building is 22,481.5 sq.m across 14 floors. The hotel features a restaurant (451 sq.m), 4 banquet halls, a business center (equipped with office facilities), 6 conference rooms, meeting rooms, a beauty salon, a sauna, a massage parlor, a parking lot for 69 cars, and laundry services.
Earlier, the State Property Fund sold a state agricultural company with a hotel for 43 million UAH, which included buildings and land plots in Kyiv and the Zhytomyr region, as well as a hotel in Kyiv with an area of 1,800 sq.m.
During preparations for the privatization auction, the Hotel 'Ukraine' in the center of Kyiv was valued at over 1 billion hryvnias. It is planned that the sale will take place in the summer months, and all auction conditions will be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.Read also
