Graphs Return: Ukrenergo and Yasno Warn Ukrainians About Power Outages.
Electricity Consumption Restrictions Due to Russian Attack
The Ukrainian company Ukrenergo reported changes in electricity consumption due to a massive Russian attack. They had to restrict the supply of electricity due to damage to energy facilities during the missile-drone attack. Two rounds of outages are scheduled for tomorrow from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The company urges residents not to turn on several high-powered electrical appliances at the same time, and specialists are working to eliminate the consequences of the accident.
The Yasno company also warned Kyiv residents about possible changes in the power outage schedule. The schedule will reflect the current information about outages for each address. Detailed information can be found on the official website of Yasno. The schedule for Monday is expected to be published around 8:00 PM. If Ukrenergo makes changes to the volumes of outages, the schedules will also change.
The Director-General of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, reported that Ukrainian nuclear power plants reduced energy production after the Russian attack as a precautionary measure. Earlier, an expert proposed a way to avoid outages this winter.
