Kyiv Blackout Schedule
According to Novyny.live: On April 3, scheduled power outages will be in effect across Kyiv and the surrounding region as a direct result of Russian strikes on energy infrastructure. The energy company DTEK has announced new rolling blackout schedules, implemented to help maintain the stability of the power grid.
Updated Outage Timings
Under the latest schedule, Group 2.1 will experience power cuts from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Groups 6.1 and 6.2 will see outages from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM. No interruptions are planned for other groups, including 1.1, 1.2, 3.1, 4.1, and 5.1.
- Group 2.1: 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM
- Groups 6.1 and 6.2: 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM
- Other groups: No outages scheduled
It is worth noting that 2,300 households in Kyiv have already applied to the 'SvitloDIM' program, reflecting a growing interest among residents in alternative power sources. This initiative could become a key step toward ensuring more stable energy resources for the city and the region.
Given the ongoing attacks on energy facilities, implementing scheduled blackouts is a necessary measure to keep the power system stable.
At the same time, the rising number of applications for alternative electricity solutions signals a shift in how residents approach energy security. This trend could have a positive impact on the overall resilience of Kyiv's energy infrastructure in the years ahead.
