Ukrainian hackers from the Main Intelligence Directorate have once again demonstrated their skills, this time attacking the information system of Gazprom. According to sources, this cyber operation may seriously complicate gas transportation and its supply to the Russian Federation.
'This time, Ukrainian cyber specialists managed to achieve maximum results due to the scale of damage to the network infrastructure of the target',
As a result of the attack, important information from Gazprom was destroyed - contracts, supply schedules, financial data, and more. This is not the first successful cyber strike by Ukrainian hackers against Russian companies, as evidenced by previous attacks on other targets.
It should be noted that such cyberattacks have serious consequences not only for the victim companies, but also for the economic security of the country as a whole.
