Harlan or Maguchih? The Association of Sports Journalists of Ukraine named the country's most outstanding athlete.

The Association of Sports Journalists recognized Olha Harlan as the most outstanding Ukrainian athlete of all Time. She became the most successful Ukrainian athlete in the history of the Olympic Games, winning gold in team events and bronze in individual events at the Paris Olympics, as well as another six medals.

Even before the voting began, it seemed obvious that the most points would go to one of our two phenomenal Olympic champions who have drawn the world's attention to Ukraine this year. However, voting is voting, and it did not lead to identical results.

According to the voting results, Harlan received the title of the most outstanding Ukrainian athlete. More than 100 members of the Association of Sports Journalists participated in the voting.

It is also worth noting that Olha Harlan expressed her disappointment regarding the election of Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov as president of the International Fencing Federation.

In the presidential elections of the International Fencing Federation held on November 30, Usmanov won with 120 votes, while his opponent, president of the Swedish Fencing Federation Otto Drakenberg, received only 26 votes.
