Cloudy with clearings, local rains: weather forecast for May 18.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on Sunday, May 18, cloudy weather with clearings and local rains is expected across the country. Forecasters predict light precipitation, while in the Carpathians, moderate rains and thunderstorms are expected.

The wind will blow from the southwest and west at a speed of 7-12 m/s, while in the Carpathians, it may reach 15-20 m/s during the day. The air temperature at night will range from 4 to 13° C, and during the day from 12 to 23° C. In the mountains, wet snow and rains are expected, with temperatures at night and during the day ranging from 0 to 5° C.

In Kyiv and the Kyiv region, cloudy weather and rains are also expected. The wind will be from the west at a speed of 7-12 m/s. The air temperature at night is expected to range from 4 to 9° C, during the day from 12 to 17° C, in Kyiv from 6 to 15° C.

According to forecaster Natalia Didenko, warmer weather is expected in the coming days. However, on Tuesday, May 21, cool weather and rains will return. Wednesday, May 22, will bring us a 'modest' warming that may last.
