When Time and money are short, you can make a fragrant closed potato pie. It's the ideal snack or full meal for dinner.
Ingredients:
- puff pastry 1 package;
- potatoes 5 pcs;
- onions 2 pcs;
- salt;
- vegetable oil 4 tbsp.;
- sesame seeds (for decoration);
- egg (for decoration).
Preparation method:
Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes. Do the same with the onions. Mix in a deep bowl. Add salt, spices, and oil. Mix everything well again. If desired, you can diversify the filling. Add diced chicken fillet and mushrooms. These products go well with potatoes.
Roll out the puff pastry. Place the first sheet of dough on a baking sheet greased with oil or lined with parchment paper.
Evenly spread the filling over the dough. Smooth it out and cover with the second layer. Pinch the edges of the pie so that the filling doesn't leak out during baking. Make small holes on top with a fork.
Brush the pie with egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 35-40 minutes. The ready pie will be covered with a golden crust.
Let the pie cool before serving. Serve warm.
