Winter support for 18 million: applications accepted only until Christmas.
According to ТСН: The government program of 'winter support' has already covered almost 18 million citizens.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted in his evening address that the acceptance of applications for assistance will end soon. The key deadline for those who have not yet taken advantage of the program is Christmas Eve.
‘It is important that the application is submitted by Christmas — this is the last day for submitting applications for this year's winter support,’ emphasized Volodymyr Zelensky.
He also added that citizens will be able to use the accrued assistance until June next year, allowing them to receive resources at a convenient time.
‘And we see that such forms of support really work — direct support, and not only in our country. America, Europe, other parts of the world in one way or another are forming their direct support programs. We will foresee new ones for next year,’ noted Zelensky.
Let us remind you that registration for government assistance under the 'Winter Support' program ends tomorrow, December 24.
Earlier, it was reported that not everyone who applied received 'Winter Support' funds. According to the latest data, over 13 million Ukrainians submitted applications for the 'winter thousand' in 'Diia', while more than 300 thousand people applied for the 'winter 6,500'. The government says there will be enough funds.
This program has become an important social initiative aimed at supporting citizens during the difficult winter period. The government is currently actively working on administrative issues to ensure timely delivery of assistance to all who need it.
In the context of global economic challenges, initiatives like 'winter support' are important steps in maintaining the stability of life for Ukrainians. Authorities urge citizens not to delay and to submit applications for the necessary assistance in time.
