According to The Sun: Wayne Rooney shockingly admitted that he could already be dead if it weren't for his wife Coleen.
This couple has been together since their teenage years and got married in 2008.

Coleen has always supported Rooney during tough times, and the former England captain shared his struggles with alcohol.
He shared his feelings with former teammate Rio Ferdinand, admitting that he tried to hide his drinking with eye drops, chewing gum, and perfume.
However, Rooney believes that without his wife's support, he could have died from alcohol.
“I truly believe that if she wasn't there, I would already be dead,”
he said on Rio Ferdinand's podcast, stressing that Coleen has always been there, helping to control his behavior.
Family Responsibilities
Rooney and Coleen raise four sons – Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, 8, and Cass, 6.
They have been together since they were 16, and despite numerous challenges, Rooney acknowledges that alcohol was a comfort for him in dealing with the challenges of youth.
“I had a lot of different problems, and my way of escape was alcohol,”
he admits, emphasizing the importance of controlling his life, which his wife actively managed.
“I made mistakes in the past, but she always guided me back on the right path,”
he added, noting that Coleen has been his moral support for twenty years.
