Anti-aging expert criticized preventive Botox: consequences for the skin.
Dr. Salina Zimri is a magician behind the scenes of Olivia Attwood's aesthetic work.
According to The Sun: A qualified doctor has dedicated 15 years of her life to this field and has worked with numerous famous personalities - thus, her opinion is authoritative.
Dr. Salina Zimri is an expert in anti-aging science and a constant practitioner of Olivia Attwood in certified aesthetics.
She has received awards for her work.
21-year-old Olivia, who admits to being a fan of plastic surgery, has been working with Dr. Salina for over five years to achieve a more natural look.
She has appeared in numerous panel show series - such as 'Olivia Marries Her Partner' - and has won many awards.
Dr. Salina does not support the idea of preventive Botox use.
She even claims that it may lead to you having more wrinkles and fine lines in the long run.
Preventive Botox use involves receiving anti-wrinkle injections in your mid to late 20s or even early 30s before deep wrinkles or fine lines fully form.
The idea is to prevent the development of these wrinkles and fine lines by limiting the movement of facial muscles that cause them.
However, Dr. Salina does not support the idea promoted by the cosmetic industry.
'I personally don’t believe in it,' she shared on Olivia's podcast 'So Wrong, It's Right.'
'Botox is so effective in most people.
'When you notice your first wrinkle, it will eliminate it.'
'So why would you - three, four years later, five years later, seven years, whatever the designated distance - do Botox procedures just to end up with the same result?'
Botox works temporarily, paralyzing the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles formed by repeated facial expressions, such as smirking, smiling, or frowning.
Dr. Salina explained: 'We must remember that Botox is medicine.
'Eventually, you may become immune to it.
'So, it's better not to become immune at 30 years of age.'
If your body becomes resistant to Botox - the general term for anti-wrinkle injections - at a young age, it won't be effective when you actually get the wrinkles that need to be eliminated.
Leading anti-aging expert Dr. Salina Zimri spoke out against preventive Botox use, asserting that it may lead to increased wrinkles and fine lines in the future. The expert emphasized that it is better to wait for real wrinkles to appear before starting Botox use.Read also
