Design and Specifications
The renders of the Galaxy S26+ show a restrained design reminiscent of the previous model Galaxy S25+, rather than the Edge version. The smartphone features a flat display with thin symmetrical bezels and a central cutout for the front camera. The main camera module is compactly designed in an oval block with three vertically arranged sensors.
It is expected that the new model will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED 2X display and dimensions of 158.4 × 75.7 × 7.35 mm. In different regions, the Galaxy S26+ will be available in two versions: with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 chips, depending on the market. The device will run on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16.
Among other features are 12 or 16 GB of RAM, a battery with a capacity of 4900 mAh supporting 45-watt charging and magnetic wireless technology Qi2. The model will also be protected according to IP68 standards, will have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the screen, and support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.
Presentation Date
According to preliminary data, the official presentation of the Galaxy S26 line is scheduled for February 25, 2026, in San Francisco during the Galaxy Unpacked event. However, Samsung has not yet officially confirmed this date.
