Investor explained how Ukraine could find funds for building wind power plants.

Ukraine needs to establish tax incentives for importing wind power equipment to attract more investors and speed up the construction of such power plants.
This was reported by the regional manager of the German company Notus Energy in Ukraine, Oleksandr Podprugin.
"It is the wind farms that should become one of the foundations of the new energy system. And it is precisely them that can be built quickly," said Podprugin.
According to him, the cancellation of VAT and import duty on energy equipment, except wind power, is unjustified.
The head of the company noted that their projects are ongoing, but the lack of tax benefits made their cost higher.
"Investors are ready to invest in new projects. The more favorable the regime for investors, both Ukrainian and foreign, the more will be built," said the market participant.
In his opinion, Ukraine must compete for international investors.
"If our neighboring countries create more favorable conditions, if it is more profitable and faster for investors to build there, they will, of course, go there to invest," said Podprugin.
"Providing such benefits is important to attract investors to our country," he added.
The market participant also noted that there is a registered bill No. 11455, which provides for tax incentives for the construction of wind power plants. This bill also supports the energy committee of the Rada.
"I would very much like the main committee, particularly the financial and tax one, which plays a key role in providing such benefits, to also support this bill, as it is really important for new projects," emphasized Podprugin.
