The Institute for the Study of War accuses the Kremlin of not being interested in negotiations to end the war in Ukraine.
Analysts believe that Russia prefers bilateral negotiations with the United States, and the Kremlin is not interested in meaningful negotiations to end the war.
The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov accuses Ukrainians of being 'well-mannered Nazis' who lack the will to justify the Kremlin's demands for regime change and the establishment of a pro-Russian government in Kyiv as a condition for ending the war in Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov blames Ukraine for violating the proposed moratorium on energy strikes, despite the fact that the details of the moratorium agreement have not yet been defined and are currently being discussed in Riyadh.
Experts argue that these statements signal to the Russian audience that there will be no peace in Ukraine anytime soon and the Kremlin is creating conditions for a prolonged war.
