According to The Sun: Jack Grealish scored an unexpected winning goal for Everton in the closing minutes of the match. He joked:
“You can’t even count this as a strike!”
The player, who cost the club 100 million pounds, netted his first goal for Everton after joining on loan from Manchester City, thus bringing three points to his team.

Grealish said:
“I made two real strikes. I don’t know if you can count the goal as a strike!”
“But I said I wanted to be in that position more, and the manager at the Valley told me to try to sneak in at the back post.”
The player also shared his feelings after the goal:
“I came to where my mom and dad were, it was really nice. I dedicate this goal to all the Everton fans who have made me feel very welcome here.”
Everton struggles to victory
Grealish brought Everton an unexpected win, scoring three minutes before the end of regulation time, despite Crystal Palace having gone 19 matches unbeaten.
