Austria Offers to Use Its Territory for Talks Between Ukraine and Russia
Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer suggested to American President Donald Trump to use his country as a venue for peace talks between Ukraine and Russia. He emphasized that Austria is neutral and a good place for such meetings.
During the conversation with Trump, Nehammer discussed the problem of the military conflict in Eastern Ukraine. He reported that Trump is very interested in ending this conflict and has a positive attitude towards achieving peace.
The Austrian Chancellor believes that his country's neutrality will be beneficial in the negotiation process and is confident that Trump can contribute to finding new dynamics for achieving peace between Russia and Ukraine.
