Caritas-Spes Ukraine Opens Second Round of Microgrants for Business, Offering Up to $5,400.

According to Novyny.live: Caritas-Spes Ukraine has launched a second application window for its financial assistance program targeting micro and small enterprises. This initiative, named 'REMARKET', provides microgrants of up to $5,400 USD. Applications for this funding round, which is open to businesses in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, and Mykolaiv regions, will be accepted until March 20, 2026. This support is part of broader international efforts to bolster Ukraine's resilient private sector during a period of economic strain.
Key Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the program, businesses must meet several core requirements. The enterprise must have been officially registered for a minimum of six months. Furthermore, applicants must operate within one of the specified sectors, which include:
- Beekeeping
- Tailoring and garment production
- Bakery and pastry production
- Closely related fields
A realistic and viable business plan demonstrating the enterprise's potential is also a mandatory component of the application.
Grant funds can be allocated to various business needs. Up to 100% of the money can be used for purchasing production equipment. Additionally, up to 30% of the financing is permitted for modernization and delivery costs, and another 30% can be directed toward marketing and raw materials. Separately, pre-registration is also available for the 'AGRO' project, which focuses on enhancing food security in the Volyn region.
