This comes after the Verkhovna Rada approved the resignation of Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on July 14, clearing the way for new leadership appointments. Against this backdrop, Koretsky has emerged as a likely candidate for the role.

Additionally, Danylyuk-Yarmolayeva noted that meetings between Sergey Koretsky and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as well as with the 'Servant of the People' parliamentary faction, are expected soon. According to the journalist, President Zelenskyy has not yet made a final decision:

“Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he hasn't decided yet—maybe we'll keep Fedorov there somewhere” - Maryna Danylyuk-Yarmolayeva.
