Kia updates the Stonic crossover: new design, two screens and modern safety systems.
According to Korrespondent.net: The Kia Stonic crossover has undergone a significant update, featuring a modern interior and the latest technologies. The model, which debuted in 2017, now adheres to the current design trends of the company, giving it the appearance of the new Kia electric vehicles.
Like before, the Stonic is built on the Kia Rio platform. It is available with a three-cylinder 1.0 T-GDI turbocharged engine, producing 99 or 113 hp. The engine works in conjunction with a six-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Exterior Changes
The front of the car features narrower LED headlights, a reduced radiator grille, and a new bumper. The sporty GT-Line version stands out with large air intakes and stylish decorative protection that simulates aluminum. The profile changes are minimal, but new 16- and 17-inch wheels have been added, as well as two new colors: Adventurous Green and Yacht Blue. At the rear, C-shaped LED taillights and an updated bumper have appeared. Thanks to the new shape of the bumpers, the length of the car has increased by 65 mm and now measures 4165 mm, yet the Stonic remains one of the most compact in its class.
Updated Interior
The interior features an entirely new control panel with two 12.3-inch digital displays. Physical buttons for climate control have been replaced with a touchscreen menu on the display. Also added are a new steering wheel, ambient lighting, wireless charging, and USB-C ports. The trunk maintains a volume of 352 liters. The updated trim includes modern safety systems: adaptive cruise control with navigation, lane-keeping assistance, and collision protection in blind spots.
Kia promises to announce details regarding the start of sales of the updated Stonic in Europe, Australia, and other regions soon.
It is worth noting that similar restyling of the Sportage was previously reported. Recently, details about Kia's most affordable electric vehicle were also disclosed.
