Kia unveiled the updated Telluride 2027: what has changed in the SUV

According to Korrespondent.net: Kia officially unveiled the updated Telluride 2027 model year, which will debut at the end of November at the Los Angeles Auto Show. This one of the brand's most successful models received significant changes in design, a complete redesign of the interior, and improvements in ergonomics, reports Motor1.

Exterior Appearance and Dimensions

The exterior of the new Telluride has become more aggressive and powerful. The front part of the car features a new, taller, and wider grille that harmoniously blends with the headlights, creating an impression of dynamics. In the SXP version, the grille is finished in glossy black with vertical slats, while in the XRT it features a mesh pattern that extends to the lower part of the bumper.

The body has gained expressive contours on the fenders and a new 'floating' roof that visually transitions into the trunk lid. The car looks sportier thanks to the wide hood, sleek roof line, and new wheel design with cross-spokes. Some elements of the silhouette even resemble a Range Rover, highlighting the premium ambitions of the model.

The dimensions of the vehicle have also increased: the wheelbase has been elongated by almost 80 mm, and the overall length is now approximately 5060 mm.

Updated Interior

The interior has undergone a complete redesign. The dashboard features a dual curved display that combines the instrument panel and the central multimedia screen. The company assures that premium materials have been used in the interior – natural wood, metal accents, and two-tone leather upholstery in higher trims.

Technical Specifications

Kia has not yet disclosed details regarding the technical specifications, but it is expected that the Telluride will remain on the platform shared with the updated Hyundai Palisade. The vehicle may receive a hybrid setup with a 2.5-liter turbo engine or a 3.5-liter V6.

Prices have not yet been announced, but forecasts indicate a starting price slightly below $40,000, which is a few thousand more than the current model.

Additional information about the technical parameters and configurations will appear during the official premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show at the end of the month.

Recall that it was previously reported that a new Chinese crossover set a record for mileage among plug-in hybrids.
