Mass drone attack in Kyiv: dead and injured
The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, reported that during the night, there was a mass attack of hostile unmanned aerial vehicles in the capital of Ukraine. As a result, three people were killed and ten sustained injuries. Debris from the downed drones landed in several areas of the city, causing fires and destruction.
In the Dnipro district, debris from a downed drone hit a residential building, leading to a fire on the upper floors. Also in this area, debris fell on a food establishment, which is a non-residential premises. This resulted in the death of an 80-year-old woman.
The Holosiivskyi district also suffered from the attack - debris from hostile drones was noticed in the industrial zone. Unfortunately, it was in this area that a father and his 5-year-old daughter were killed, which was a loss for their relatives.
In the Podil district, debris fell on a high-rise building, causing a fire on the top floor. As a result, ten residents of the city were injured, one of them was hospitalized, and the others received medical assistance at the scene.
Emergency services are working promptly at all locations to mitigate the consequences of the attack and provide assistance to the injured.
Earlier, Russian drones attacked Odesa, leading to fires, injuries, and power outages in three districts.
