Light in Kyiv to return by Thursday: what Syvridenko reported.
Energy situation in Kyiv
According to ТСН: Work on restoring the energy system in Kyiv continues after recent enemy attacks. It is hoped that the situation will improve in the coming days.
Prime Minister Yulia Syvridenko reported this:
“In Kyiv, the Russians carried out one of the largest attacks on energy infrastructure during the full-scale war. The enemy deliberately targeted ballistic missile strikes, particularly on thermal generation facilities. The situation was further complicated by severe weather conditions and a significant drop in temperature. To significantly improve the situation in Kyiv, time is needed - we are aiming for Thursday,”
she noted.
Earlier, the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, reported that more than a thousand houses in Kyiv remain without heat, but heat has already been restored for other facilities.
It was also reported that energy workers managed to restore electricity for more than 370 thousand families in Kyiv region. However, severe weather conditions continue to significantly complicate this work.
The restoration of energy infrastructure is an important step in ensuring comfortable conditions for the residents of the capital. In the context of constant enemy attacks, it is extremely important to maintain the stability of electricity and heat supply so that Kyiv residents can endure the winter period with dignity. The situation remains tense, but the efforts of energy workers are already yielding the first positive results.
