According to Novyny.live: Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has announced plans to extend the city's red metro line to the suburb of Brovary, but the Kyiv Metro operator has publicly contradicted this claim. In 2020, Klitschko outlined a vision for expanding the red line to reach Brovary. However, by March of that same year, the Kyiv Metro authority stated that no such construction was in the works.
