The crash claimed four lives: two community police officers, a woman, and the young boy.

Three other people at the scene sustained injuries from the impact. The 49-year-old driver was also hurt, though his injuries are not life-threatening. Records show he had accumulated 10 traffic fines over the past year and a half. He has since been arrested and charged with violating traffic regulations, resulting in the deaths of four individuals.
