According to Espreso.tv: In Kyiv’s Dnipro district, a memorial service was held for 12-year-old Hryhorii Hlushych, who lost his life in a road accident on June 5, 2023. The tragedy unfolded around 5:00 p.m. when a Mercedes-Benz driver, speeding out of control, plowed into an underground pedestrian crossing. The crash claimed four lives: two community police officers, a woman, and the young boy.
Three other people at the scene sustained injuries from the impact. The 49-year-old driver was also hurt, though his injuries are not life-threatening. Records show he had accumulated 10 traffic fines over the past year and a half. He has since been arrested and charged with violating traffic regulations, resulting in the deaths of four individuals.
