Services Provided by Kyiv's 'Invincibility Points'
According to Novyny.live: Kyiv's 'Invincibility Points' are emergency support centers providing critical aid to residents facing electricity and heating outages. These centers offer hot drinks and the ability to charge electronic devices. Currently, 130 of these facilities run by the State Emergency Service (SES) are operating around the clock in the capital and Kyiv region.
These centers have already provided assistance to nearly 39,000 people. Among those seeking support, SES psychologists are on hand to offer consultations and psychological aid. Since the start of the current 24-hour period alone, 148 individuals have received support.
How Kyiv's Resilience Centers Support Citizens
The 'Invincibility Points' in Kyiv provide not only hot beverages like tea and coffee but also light snacks for visitors. These initiatives are vital for supporting people during difficult times when basic needs become paramount. These facilities have become a crucial part of the city's infrastructure since Russia's invasion targeted Ukraine's energy grid, leading to widespread blackouts.
Given the circumstances in Ukraine, the 'Invincibility Points' play a key role in providing social support to the population. Amidst the energy crisis and lack of basic utilities, such initiatives help people not only physically but also psychologically, offering them necessary comfort and support during a challenging period.
