According to UATV: Speaking at the 56th World Economic Forum in Davos, which runs from January 20 to 23, 2023, Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, outlined a vision for a gradual resolution to the war. In his January 20th address, he underscored that achieving peace is contingent on sustained international support.
Budanov expressed profound gratitude for the assistance provided to Ukraine.
"I am deeply grateful, first and foremost, to the United States of America, to all the countries of Europe, and to Canada as well," stated Kyrylo Budanov.
The Head of the President's Office further emphasized that any durable settlement must be just and include concrete security guarantees for Ukraine, alongside a comprehensive plan for national recovery and reconstruction.
"We need a just peace. We need security guarantees, and we need a plan for Ukraine's recovery and reconstruction," he said.
These remarks at the Davos forum reflect a strategic outlook on resolving the conflict and highlight the critical role international backing plays for Ukraine's future.
